Fanless IM2100 - IP65

temperature

In industrial use, as well as in operation in vehicles or outdoors, IPCs are exposed to most large temperature ranges. Temperature fluctuations must also be taken into account. Commercial standard computers usually cover the range 0..35 ° C, while fanless TX-Team IPCs work at least in the range of 0 ... 45 ° C, sometimes -40 .. 75 ° C - process-reliable, 24/7, below Continuous full load.

IP protection class

When it comes to dust and splash water protection according to IP standards, we have systems up to protection class IP65 (complete dust protection, protection against water jets).
Systems that are protected from dust, dirt and moisture on all sides are suitable for special sectors such as the food industry, laboratories and agricultural operations, as well as - in general - outdoor use.

Shock and Vibration

Depending on the application scenario, IPCs can be exposed to increased mechanical influences. Transmission of vibrations and shocks - for example on machines or in vehicles - pose a risk to plug connections and socketed CPUs and RAMs.
System designs without cables, with soldered CPUs, secured screw connections and mechanical protection and / or anti-vibration-fill for RAMs counter this risk effectively.

Maintenance free

Fanless systems with flash or SSD storage have no moving parts and therefore no mechanical wear.
Closed heat sink housings divert the power loss to the outside via heat pipes or heat spreader and transfer it to the environment.
This means that no foreign bodies can get into the system. So no cleaning is required.

24/7

TX-Team IPCs are basically designed for 24/7 operation - even under permanent full load.
Generously dimensioned cooling systems, high-quality components and extensive tests ensure that TX-Team systems run error-free for many years.
Integrated UPSs, redundant power supplies, remote maintenance functions (predictive maintenance) and RAID systems are ideal for particularly critical scenarios.

Interfaces

While specialized embedded systems offer a reduced setting and are often operated headless, a rich variety of interfaces is the standard for "larger" industrial computers. This includes several graphic interfaces for multi-monitor operation, dual GLAN controllers, audio, USB 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.1 and at least two COM interfaces.
If required, 6 or more RS232 / 422/485 ports are also possible.
Communication interfaces such as LoRA, Sigfox, WLAN, 3G / 4G as well as CAN and various field buses are either already permanently integrated or can be expanded using add-on modules.
Digital and analog GPIOs are ideal for direct connection to the sensors and actuators.

Software

Depending on the application, a Windows or Linux operating system is the better choice. Our IPCs basically support both. We can also continue to deliver "retro-fit" systems for operating systems up to MS-DOS without any problems.
In addition, there is the entire range of Microsoft Embedded operating systems, such as Windows 10 IoT Embedded Enterprise.
For many IPCs and industrial servers, we have also approved Microsoft's server operating systems and all common virtualization hosts, including VMWare ESXi, Virtualbox and Hyper-V.

Whatever the application should run on your IPC: Codesys, LabView, WinCC, or your own software, we will be happy to help you with the implementation.

Long term availability

Evaluating new hardware and checking for compatibility can be time-consuming.
In order to avoid unnecessary system changes, the product range of all TX-Team IPCs is modular, platform-based and designed for long-term availability. The standard is 5 years, but often up to 15 years.
Successor systems are usually mechanically identical, compatible in many areas and often even image-compatible with the respective predecessor models.
